Step One
Wash your hands thoroughly before opening the swab and taking your sample.
Step Two
Peel back the lid and open the swab. Pick up the swab by the shaft. Make sure to keep the packaging, as you will need it when you send your swab back for testing.
Step Three
Slip the lid off by gently by pressing the sides of the cap, it should slide off. Ensure you do not touch the white brush. Keep the lid nearby to recap your swab later.
Step Four
Now insert the swab into your vagina until the wings touch your labia. Gently push the pink plunger up until you hear a click.
Step Five
Collect your sample by turning the plunger five times, listening for a click with each turn. It's as easy as twist and click.
Step Six
Remove the swab holding the casing with one hand. Pull the plunger to retract the white brush. Re-attach the lid with a click to protect your sample in the mail.
Step Seven
Place your brush back into the original packaging. If you have registered your test offline, then pop this form into the box with the swab ready for us at the lab.
Step Eight
With everything safely inside, peel the adhesive, close the box, and seal securely. Stick the returns label on the back covering the original label.
Step Nine
Return your sealed box to any Postbox or Post Office near you. Your sample is Royal Mail Tracked® so we know when it is on its way to us.
This test cannot tell you if you have cancer. It can detect the presence of high risk HPV, the major cause for developing cervical cancer.
In the event that you have any side effects or symptoms i.e spotting, pain, or discharge after using this device seek medical attention.
Do not use if you are under the age of 18.
Do not use this during your period.
Do not use this whilst pregnant or for 3 months after a pregnancy.
Do not use this if the packaging of the swab if damaged and expired.
Do not use other vaginal products, except condoms, contraceptives, and water based lubricants 48hrs before testing.
Do not reuse this device, repeat usage can cause infection and/or affect diagnosis.
